Production Assistant

Job Description:
Production Assistant is an entry level position in the brewery responsible for independent tasks necessary to keep operations moving, while regularly assisting brewers with more advanced operations. 

About Us
Kent Falls Brewing Company is a farm brewery based in Northwest Connecticut. We operate a small production facility, tasting room, and working-farm. All of our beers, regardless of style are made with 100% locally grown and malted grains and we proudly self-distribute our beer throughout the State of Connecticut.

Salary and Benefits
Cellar Person is a full time job (40 hours per week with overtime) with an hourly wage of $18 per hour.
Shifts may vary in hours depending on the day/week.

Retirement benefits (401k with 100% contribution match up to 3% of salary).

Responsibilities:
Willing to learn about beer and brewing.
Filling and cleaning kegs
Inventory of ingredients
Receive purchase orders
Preparing tanks for cleaning
Preparing and milling grain for each batch

Experience, Skills, and Character:
Candidate must be a team oriented person with attention to detail, good interpersonal and communication skills. Prior brewery experience and knowledge of beer and brewing are desired, but not required; being willing and eager to learn is a core requirement.
