Filling our farm’s old milk chiller with near boiling wort directly from the kettle has long been a special night for us at the brewery. Last month, for the first time we opened this process up to the public and invited anyone visiting our tasting room to participate in the experience. The experience was extremely rewarding, and has encouraged us to organize one last Community Coolship evening, where we hope encourage spontaneous conversation as well as fermentation.
Knockout, the process of filling the coolship should begin around 530pm and will extend to closing.
We will be pouring samples of Surroundings 1, an upcoming release of a single barrel of 4 year old spontaneously fermented beer from our first fill back in April of 2015.
