About the Artist:
Through my multi-media artwork, I seek to capture the beauty and intricacies of nature, particularly my passion for plants, fungi, life, and death. Drawing inspiration from my budding career as a holistic death worker, I contemplate mortality and weave those reflections into my artwork.
My work embodies my reverence for the cycles of life and the inherent connection between birth, growth, death, and decay. Through my paintings and drawings, I aim to explore the fragility and resilience of existence, and the inevitable mysteries of the natural world.
Using a combination of paints and markers, I often portray my love for mushrooms and plants, the symbolism of animal forms, and the fleeting nature of it all, to serve as a visual exploration of the relationship between humanity and the ever evolving wild realms. Through my creative process, I aim to evoke a sense of wonder, while also encouraging contemplation and reflection on impermanence.
