Back Pasture

A series of Foeder-conditioned lagers.

Batch 1. Single decoction helles lager made with Northeastern grown Endeavor barley malt that was brewed in October 2020 and conditioned in our oak Foeder for six weeks before being naturally carbonated with fresh wort and lagered until ready.

Batch 2. Triple decoction Czech inspired pale lager brewed with Endeavor barley malt and whole cone Czech Saaz hops. Conditioned in our folder for nearly two months prior to six weeks in stainless with young lager for natural carbonation.

Batch 3. Pilsner with a certain German tilt to it. A similar mash profile to The Hollow with a change in hop regimen, showcasing an amplified rate of Hallertau Mittlefruh and a distinct oak character.

Batch 4. Pilsner that leans more toward Czech inspiration; maintaining the lighter base profile from our last batch while incorporating a bit more caramelization character and Saaz hops.

Batch 5. Double decoction lager, with whole cone Saaz mash hops. Naturally carbonated after nearly a month conditioning time in our foeder.

Batch 6. Foeder-conditioned lager with a light caramelized malt note complemented by oak and lemony hops.
