When we decided to brew a beer in celebration of Northford’s Potato and Corn festival we knew we had to go with a cream ale. Flaked corn from Thrall Family Malt in Windsor CT and Endeavor barley from Valley Malt provide a natural sweetness while whole cone Czech Saaz hops layer soft floral spice into a dry, refreshing beer perfect for the peak of summer.
