About Us: We are Connecticut’s first farm-brewery, and from the beginning, we have focused on building relationships; working directly with local farmers and maltsters for our ingredients, and establishing our own independent distribution to Connecticut bars, restaurants, and retailers. We’re proud to make all of our beers in the beautiful Northwest corner of Connecticut using 100% locally grown grains and on average, 30% Northeast grown hops. We’re looking for someone to join our team and be a part of making our farm fresh beers accessible to consumers across Connecticut.
Job Summary:
As our Sales Rep you will be the primary voice and point of contact for our on-premise and retail customers. You will be responsible for developing new opportunities while supporting existing customer relationships to ensure our beer is accessible and fresh for our consumers; promoting consistent placements of our year-round beers, as well as highlighting seasonal, rotating and special releases. This job involves consistent communication with our production, distribution, and management teams but is primarily located in the field, and requires a willingness to work outside of standard 9-5pm hours.
Compensation:
Base Salary of $40,000
Bonus potential up to $20,000 between quarterly and annual sales goals.
Employer-provided healthcare (contributions toward premiums).

Three-weeks paid vacation
Expense-account for gas and sales visits.
You are/have:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3+ years experience working at a brewery, in hospitality, at a distributor, or retailer
Passionate about keeping things local; especially beer and agriculture
An excellent communicator who is comfortable speaking in public
A strong listener, able to hear customer needs and problem solve for an appropriate solution
Organized and able to make efficient long and short term sales data based plans
Have a clean driving record and reliable vehicle
Be willing to commute to Kent, as well as around Connecticut
Proficient with google docs, google sheets, powerpoint, and willing to learn new systems
Able to maneuver and place cases of beer, as well as full-kegs during the course of the day
Willing to make a delivery when necessary
Able to operate and adapt in a fast-paced rapidly evolving marketplace
Responsibilities:
Grow, develop, and maintain valuable customer relationships
Educate customers about our beers, company, and distribution model
Maintain organized sales and communication records
Track sales related expenses and submit expense reports
Update customer contact information as changes occur
Resolve customer issues to ensure satisfaction
Monitor product freshness in the market and ensure quality standards are being met
Support company goals and actively work toward achieving quarterly objectives
Complete administrative tasks on a regular basis tracking and submitting mileage and expense reports, weekly recap of activities, customer communications and more.
Coordinate tasks to resolve customer needs with distribution team
Communicate with production and management team on customer needs and feedback
Organize and represent Kent Falls at events around Connecticut
