Susan Purdy is well-known as a prize-winning cookbook author-illustrator, culinary instructor, and respected visual artist. The works shown at the brewery in pastel, oil, and watercolor, reflect her interest in vegetables and farmers’ markets as well as the New England Landscape, as well as sites she has visited in France, England, and Mexico.
Susan’s work can be found at many local galleries from the Washington Art Association to Roxbury’s Minor Memorial Library. She studied painting in Paris, and in New York with many artists. She spent years working as a textile designer before turning to writing and illustrating.
An Author of over 30 books, Purdy continues to teach baking and writing locally and abroad.
Susan’s work is very close to our heart. As avid supporters or and good friends with our local grain farmers baking, landscapes, and farmers’ markets are something we hold very dear. To have these subjects captured so beautifully as a backdrop to our customers’ experience in the tasting room is beyond fulfilling.
Masks will be required while inside the tasting room.
