August Art featuring Bob Fappiano

We are excited to begin featuring a different artists work in our tasting room each month, and could not be happier to have one of our longtime regulars, Bob Fappiano as our first guest artist.

Bob has spent 35 years as a professional artist creating digital and traditional art for publishing, video, and interactive media. He has an eclectic portfolio of work including sculpture, puppetry, painting, drawing, traditional and digital animation. Bob’s art will be on display inside the tasting room bringing life to our walls throughout the month of August and into September.

From Bob:
After a prolonged period of doing digital artwork, I embarked on this series of oil paintings and pen and ink drawings. Over the past year I have enjoyed utilizing different techniques and materials whenever possible. The pieces in this show mainly focus on music, chess and whimsical characters. My work philosophy has been whenever I get too tight and overly focused on a piece, I do something fun and lighthearted. I hope the joy I experience while working comes through in these paintings and drawings.

Opening night will be August 12, during regular tasting room hours from 2-7pm with live music by our very own label artist Dan Hamilton from 5-7pm!
The show will run September 2, Bob will be in attendance every Thursday.
