Hop harvest season is behind us and now it’s time to enjoy the fruits of so many people’s labor.
This year’s batch of Split Level, our fresh hop pale ale is made with fresh whole cone Vista hops from Crooked Creek Hop Farm in Addisson County. Chris Holden, farmer and owner of Crooked Creek is a crucial part of Northeast hop infrastructure and has acted like a hop guru of sorts to us and we are extremely excited to feature his hops in this year’s release.
Chris’ Vista hops are rich in guava and pineapple character that play beautifully with a green mango note we love about NY grown Cascade hops.
We’ve been making fresh hop beers for over a decade and think this is one of our best yet.
Draft and cans of Split Level will be available all weekend at Kent and Northford.
