Family Vines has become a beer that embodies what we are most passionate about as a brewery. As a series, this beer celebrates an incredible local farm who we are fortunate enough to work with on nearly every beer we make, a special project of their own, and some wild fermentations.

Thrall Family Malt, an historic tobacco farm in Windsor CT for the past 300+ years is now home to Connecticut’s only malt house. The Thrall Family maintains also happens to maintain a private vineyard we are lucky enough to have received fruit from for the past 5 years.

Family Vines 4 is a co-fermentation of our table beer recipe and 2023 harvest Riesling Grüner Veltliner, and Aromella grape juice, delicately dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin before packaging.
