Farm Brewery Tours

Every Saturday at 2pm*
May – September
(DONE FOR THE SEASON: SEE YOU IN THE SPRING)

Mark your calendars! FREE weekly Farm Brewery Tours start May 7th.

About the Tour:

Come for a beer, and stay for an education. Join a KFBC staff member for a short walk through the brewery and around the interior of the farm to experience how to tie brewing and agriculture together as Connecticut’s first farm-brewery.

On the Farm Tour you will hear about:

  • How our brewery makes beer
  • History of the property & the business
  • What our farm has chosen to let us do here
  • Livestock: pigs, chickens, ducks, goats, turkeys
  • Plants: hops, wild foraged-ingredients
  • Up-cycling Brewers Spent Grains

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

How much does this cost?
Noting, it’s free. We would love the opportunity to share our story, entertain you for a few minutes, and further your connection to agriculture.

Is this family friendly?
Yes. The tour changes slightly week-to-week depending on attendance. We keep the adults engaged with science facts you never considered when drinking a beer, and keep the kids entertain by visiting baby chicks, petting goats, and feeding pigs.

How long does it last?
The tour starts promptly at 2pm and lasts a very quick 20 minutes. Questions are always welcome and our staff are happy to take extra time to answer them.

Can I bring my beer on the tour?
Of course! You are at a brewery after all. Beers purchased at the Tasting Room are welcome to join you on the tour.

Are dogs allowed?
Unfortunately no. For the health and safety of our livestock on farm we do not permit dogs on the tour or in the tasting room.
