We are very excited to be releasing our first collaboration beer with our friends from Hachiroku in New Haven.

We got together in early August to make a beer that celebrates each of our favorite grains; we selected Endeavor barley from Valley Malt and they selected a blend of Koshihikari and Hitomebore short grain Japanese rice.

A short wash and cereal mash of the rice, married into a grist of barley creates a delicate base that allows the flavor and texture of each grain to shine with an ever so delicate hot side addition of new world German hops delivers a bright, softly fruity, extra dry lager.

We’ll be pouring our collaboration all weekend long, with our official release party and pop up on Saturday in Northford.
