After last year’s Change in the Air Festival in New Haven, we got together with our friends at Crosby Hops and developed a beer to support the African American Brewers’ Scholarship Fund at Sacred Heart University. LOTS is made with estate-grown Crosby Hops and 100% Northeastern-grown grains.
This year’s batch is our first ever beer focused on Zappa hops. When Nolan from Crosby Hops described the profile as “tasting like purple” we knew we had to design the recipe around it. Complemented by Crystal and Centennial, Zappa leads this wavy, choose your own adventure of hop flavor that gives off Concord grape, tropical fruit, and more.
