MUSHROOM DYE WORKSHOP

Explore the realm of color created from mushrooms!
Saturday, July 22nd from 3-6pm in our Tasting Room

Join us to learn the history and methods of mushroom dyes with artist Elizabeth Markey.

Elizabeth will teach students how to unlock the hidden colors within wild mushrooms and transform them into dyes for textiles. We will cover species of dye-mushrooms, the process of making dye baths and dyeing fibers. Students will dye and take home their own heavy weight silk mushroom dye scarf.
