Introducing Maizey Days Cream Ale

 

Just before we opened our Northford Tap Room last fall we kept hearing about the town’s Potato and Corn Festival. It didnt take long for us to start planning our first beer with Connecticut grown corn and we were immediately drawn to a cream ale.

This year’s PoCo Festival will be held  down the street from our taproom on August 7-9, right in the peak of summer. A cream ale’s natural sweetness and body from flaked corn, along with a background floral spice from whole cone Saaz hops creates a dry and extremely easy beer you can drink until the corn’s ready to pick.

We’ll have Maizey Days on tap and available in cans in both locations beginning Thursday and through the end of the PoCo Fest August 9.
