This week’s new beer, Endeavor is truly a labor of love that we hope you get to effortlessly enjoy.
This year’s batch of Endeavor, our triple decoction Czech inspired pale lager has brought new levels of meaning to its name.
Named for our favorite variety of NE grown barley from @valleymalt, the base of most lagers we brew, Endeavor is an expected 17 hour brew day.We are honored to have the privilege of making this year’s batch with @valleymalts latest Endeavor, Jalowetz malt.
Jalowetz is a uniquely crafted, under modified malt made specifically for decoction mash profiles to mimic early traditional Czech lager brewing methods.
From the farmer growing finicky flavorful varieties of barley, Andrea researching historic malting methods and adapting the process to our local grains, to our long day on the deck.
