Spry: Wild Ale with Rhubarb & Sumac

A new blend of Spry will be available at the farm this weekend. Spry has always been a blend of new and old beer, with a strong component of its character coming from rhubarb and sumac foraged from our farm. This year’s blend consists of mature oak aged spry and young buckwheat grisette. A balanced tartness, mellow strawberry and lemon notes from the foraged rhubarb and sumac complement a well-defined spontaneous character.
We’re pulling some special bottles from our cellar to share this weekend.
Petals Batch 1 – a mixed fermentation farmhouse ale made with handpicked dandelion petals from our farm. Lillian – a tomato gose brewed with our friend Brew It Crispy. Our base gose was conditioned on white and yellow tomatoes from Fort Hill Organic Farm and Marble Valley Farm with spontaneous cultures from each of our breweries.
These two beers will only be available for on site short pours.
