Introducing Extra!

XPA is a style we have been talking about making since Trevor joined our brewing team back in February. Extra Pale Ales are not very common, at least right now in our area but have taken hold of the southern hemisphere. A focus on bright, expressive southern hemisphere hops and an easy drinking crispy malt profile creates a beautiful addition to our lineup of beers for the weekend and beyond.

Our XPA, Extra! is hopped with Galaxy, Nelson Cryo and Riwaka. We love the extra pop of the cryo in this beer, and get loud notes of tropical and dank fruit, a complexity that only Riwaka offers and a refreshing bitterness at the end of each sip.

A piece of our process that is not shared nearly enough is how we go about

making our labels. Dan Hamilton has been our label artist since the very first batch of Field Beer, and comes up with hysterical concepts or turns our off the wall concepts into incredible visuals you see on the finished cans.
