Candy Cap

Our farm has quite a bit of maple trees. For our maple inspired stout we harvest 30 maple bark from recently downed sugar maples on our farm and toast it just before addition to the boil. Conditioned on Candy Cap mushrooms, which naturally impart a strong maple syrup character in stainless steel, this beer has a plush toasted marshmallow and maple syrup vibe to it without the use of any actual syrup.
