Rye Barrel Aged Multiverse is our double-mash imperial stout aged in 25 gallon Hillock Estate Distillery rye barrels for 7 months. Time and barrel together create a blanketing chocolate mouthfeel with a finish reminiscent of a rye whiskey Old Fashion. This beer is intentionally carbonated to a low volume to enhance the smooth and silky character getting you as close to the experience of sampling it directly out of the barrel as possible.
