Distribution Details for the week of September 27.
This week we have canned a new batch of our pilsner, The Hollow. Here are the beers we will be distributing:
The Hollow
Our brewery’s go to pils. Made from Northeastern grown and malted Endeavor barley, The Hollow is a crisp, clean presentation of our favorite barley’s honey and clover characteristic, with a pleasing bitterness.
¯_(ツ)_/¯ aka Shruggie
A classic combination of Simcoe® and Amarillo® hops in the kettle and a new dry hop selection for each batch. This batch, #21 showcases Idaho 7 from Crosby Hop Farm (OR), New Zealand Motueka, and Citra®. A grist made from Connecticut grown and malted grains means each can supports 4 sf of local grain farming!
Field Beer
A well-hopped saison made from Northeastern grown Endeavor barley and fermented in stainless with our house yeast (a collection of yeast we have been brewing with since we opened our brewery and wild yeasts we have collected over the last seven years). Bright, expressive, refreshing, and local. Everything a Saison should be.
Partage
A light and refreshing table beer made with Northeastern grown and malted barley, raw wheat, and aged hops for a touch of funk; fermented in stainless steel with house yeast.
Partage des Framboises
A spritzy table beer full of raspberry life. Made from a blend of barrel aged grisette conditioned on second use raspberries in stainless steel.
Kolsch
Our third batch of Kolsch. A clean, crisp presentation of our favorite barley, cold conditioned for six weeks with a light dry hop of New York grown Centennial and Connecticut grown Chinook for a hint of citrus to complement the fruity yeast esters.
Fancy Chicken
A small batch of a brand new blonde ale is making its way across Connecticut to select retailers. A 4.5% golden treat made with Northeastern Endeavor barley, and hopped with a blend of Czech Saaz and Amarillo.
Wooded Streams
After a two year hiatus, our fall lager is back! A showcase of our favorite local base malt and specialty malts used to produce a deep copper color and crispy bread crust finish. Perfect for fest season!
Neversink Wheat
Summer is closing out with one of our most satisfying additions this year. Neversink Wheat is made with spent botanicals from our distillery, Neversink Spirit’s gin added into the boil alongside our traditional spice blend. A delicate wave of character at the end of each sip.
Along with these beers we will be restocking our retail partners with our best selling beer, Superscriptᴵᴾᴬ .
Made a combination of our favorite Northeastern/Connecticut grown malts from Valley and Thrall Family Malt, and hand selected hops from farms in NY (35%) and Oregon (65%).
Refreshing grapefruit, hints of pineapple, strawberry and orange with a little piney anchor to it.
