Our Kölsch has arrived!
We have been excited about making this beer for quite some time. As we began commissioning our new canning line in May we cleared some necessary cellar space to allow this wonderful beer appropriate time to cool out in stainless steel before we packaged it.
We’re thrilled with the finished product; a new new presentation of Northeast grown Endeavor barley, well water, and select German hops, fermented with a single strain of Kölsch yeast. Over the course of this summer we will be making a few batches of this beer. Each with their own hop profile.
This first batch is true to style, and perfect for sunny days on the farm. Kölsch will be available at the brewery this weekend for on-site pours and in four packs to go. After a couple weeks residence in our tasting room this batch will be distributed, mostly on draft to select accounts across CT. We anticipate our upcoming batches having more cans available for distribution.
