Oak Aged Spry
Oak Aged Spry is a wild ale made with our friends from Baltic Bay Wild Ales (Russia) on their visit to the farm in November 2017. A blend of mature wild ale and fresh farmhouse ale with foraged sumac and rhubarb from our farm steeped in the kettle. After fermentation a single barrel was filled and allowed to rest until bottling in February 2020. This oak aged version opens up to offer soft vinous notes with well-developed rhubarb and sumac character.
